Don't settle for leakers - Specify FLODAR® SELF-FLARE® TUBE FITTINGS Follow these three simple steps to assure a heavy duty, leakproof, reuseable tubing joint: Cut off tubing, square! Saw cut recommended. Deburr I.D. and O.D. of tubing. Do not cut into tubing. Be sure fitting is assembled as shown, finger tight. Hold tubing in fitting against wedge. Tighten down firmly, 1-1/2 to 2 turns. Flare of tube should be .010 / .015 greater than original tube O.D. and grip on tube from sleever should be .050 / .100 from tube end.
